Profiled in the piece are Koketso Moeti who founded Amandla.mobi, Matshidiso Mofokeng of Tisa-Tshireletso, Fatima Asmal of ILM-SA, and Kwezilomso Mbandazayo who manages the women’s rights and gender justice programmes of Oxfam South Africa.

Proudly rounding out the list is PACT’s Anastacia Tomson, highlighted for her work in tackling transphobia, itself a form of gender-based violence.
